Promotion Terms and Conditions
- This Promotion (defined in clause 4 below) is being held by HarperCollins Publishers Limited of Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow G64 2QT (“HarperCollins”).
- These Terms and Conditions are supplemental to:
- The Promotion is only available to “Subscribers”, as defined in the Subscription Terms.
- The promotion is:
(a) the opportunity for Subscribers to pre-order HarperCollins’ Locked Library exclusive edition of the book, The Book that Broke the World by Mark Lawrence (the “Book”) forty-eight (48) hours prior to the Book being available for pre-order to non-Subscribers (the “Promotional Period”). The Book features:
i. A bespoke re-colour cover by Tom Roberts (the “Illustrator”)
ii. Digital edges by the Illustrator that line up with the first book in the trilogy, The Book That Wouldn’t Burn;
iii. A foil board design;
iv. Illustrated endpapers by the Illustrator; and
v. An inbound letter from the author, Mark Lawrence.
and
(b) The opportunity to pre-order the Book with a five pound (£5) discount from the recommended retail price of twenty seven pounds (£27) (the “Discount”).

- To obtain the Promotion :
- The Promotional Period starts at 12pm Greenwich Meantime on 27/02/2024 and closes at 11:59am Greenwich Meantime on 29/02/2024. You will not be able to benefit from the Discount if you pre-order the Book after the expiry of the Promotional Period.
- Only one (1) pre-order is allowed per Subscriber.
- The Book is subject to availability and HarperCollins reserve the right to withdraw the Promotion at any time.
- No cash or other alternatives to the Promotion are available.
- By pre-ordering a Book during the Promotional Period, you are agreeing to accept these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions by you will mean that your pre-order may be cancelled. HarperCollins reserves the right to investigate any irregularities and cancel pre-orders at its absolute discretion. Any cancelled pre-orders shall be refunded.
- Any dispute relating to this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
