Promotion Terms and Conditions

 

  1. This Promotion (defined in clause 4 below) is being held by HarperCollins Publishers Limited of Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow G64 2QT (“HarperCollins”).

 

  1. These Terms and Conditions are supplemental to:

 

(a) the Terms and Conditions of Subscription for The Locked Library: https://www.thelockedlibrary.co.uk/pages/terms-and-conditions (“Subscription Terms”); and

     

    (b) the Terms and Conditions: For both Sale and Website: https://harpercollins.co.uk/pages/harpercollinspublishersuk-termsandconditions (the “Sale Terms”). For the avoidance of doubt, reference to the “Website” in the Sale Terms includes thelockedlibrary.co.uk.

       

      1. The Promotion is only available to “Subscribers”, as defined in the Subscription Terms.
      2. The promotion is:

        (a) the opportunity for Subscribers to pre-order a reprint of HarperCollins’ Locked Library exclusive edition of the April 2023 book, The Book That Wouldn't Burn by Mark Lawrence (the “Book”) forty-eight (48) hours prior to the Book being available for pre-order to non-Subscribers (the “Promotional Period”). The Book features:

        i. A bespoke re-colour cover by Tom Roberts (the “Illustrator”)

        ii. Digital edges by the Illustrator;

        iii. A foil board design;

        iv. Illustrated endpapers by the Illustrator; and

        v. An inbound letter from the author, Mark Lawrence.

        and

         

        1. The opportunity to pre-order the Book with a discount of five pounds (£5) from the recommended retail price of twenty seven pounds (£27) (the “Discount”).

         

         (b) The opportunity to pre-order the Book with a five pound (£5) discount from the recommended retail price of twenty seven pounds (£27) (the “Discount”).

         

        (the “Promotion”).

         

        1. To obtain the Promotion :
        (a) Visit https://www.thelockedlibrary.co.uk/collections/shop/products/the-book-that-wouldnt-burn;
        (b) Click on the button titled “Log in to Unlock”.
        (c) Sign into your Locked Library account.
        (d) Add the Book to your cart and click “checkout” to proceed.
        (e) Once on the payment page, enter the code INFINITELIBRARY to the section titled “Discount code” and click “Apply”. The code is case sensitive. The code will only be active during the Promotional Period.
        (f) Follow the rest of the instructions on the payment page to complete your pre-order purchase.
        1. The Promotional Period starts at 12pm Greenwich Meantime on 27/02/2024 and closes at 11:59am Greenwich Meantime on 29/02/2024. You will not be able to benefit from the Discount if you pre-order the Book after the expiry of the Promotional Period.
        1. Only one (1) pre-order is allowed per Subscriber.
        2. The Book is subject to availability and HarperCollins reserve the right to withdraw the Promotion at any time.
        3. No cash or other alternatives to the Promotion are available.
        1. By pre-ordering a Book during the Promotional Period, you are agreeing to accept these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions by you will mean that your pre-order may be cancelled. HarperCollins reserves the right to investigate any irregularities and cancel pre-orders at its absolute discretion. Any cancelled pre-orders shall be refunded.
        1. Any dispute relating to this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
